With a background in community relations, brand management, event planning, and political strategy, Rachelle brings a wealth of experience to the table. Her proficiency in sponsorship procurement and management, as well as her exceptional communication skills, make her an invaluable asset to any organization or community project.

 

Rachelle's professional journey includes a significant role as the Executive Director of the Eric Woodward Foundation. In this capacity, she successfully directed all operational aspects, including fiscal planning, compliance monitoring, and personnel management, while significantly increasing community engagement and support. Rachelle's skill in facilitating charitable contributions and building strong relationships with the community and local elected officials resulted in a remarkable 100% approval rate for development applications.

Rachelle has organized numerous community events including; the Township of Langley Firefighters Charitable Society Spark of Hope Gala, Fort Langley Night Market, Miracle on Church Street: a Fort Langley Christmas, and Fort Langley Cranberry Festival demonstrating her passion for community engagement and development.

 

As the Principal of Beautiful Wild Living since January 2015, Rachelle has excelled in securing grants, managing relationships, developing marketing and social media strategies, and overseeing operational and experiential aspects of events. She has a demonstrated ability to identify and establish partnerships with influencers and community stakeholders, organize community initiatives, and navigate the complex landscape of municipal permitting processes and community bylaws. Rachelle is also a strong advocate for community initiatives, infrastructure development, and securing funding. Her expertise extends to organizing campaign efforts, communications, and branding at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. She possesses extensive knowledge in the Local Government Act, Elections Act, Community Charter, and ALC policy, aiding in navigation of municipal application filings from concept to completion.

 

Rachelle's Vancouver career journey began as the owner of Granville Island Hat Shop in Vancouver, BC, from January 2009 to January 2016, where she managed all administrative and operational aspects of a retail business with an impressive gross annual sales record.

Rachelle holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of Wisconsin and is actively involved in various organizations.​

Rachelle lives in Fort Langley with her two daughters.
